Ouruhia Reserve

Ouruhia Reserve is a five-hectare open-space domain off Marshland Road in Belfast, with a compact play area built around a slide, swings with an infant seat, a rotonet spinner, a spring rocker and a basket swing, an easy stop for toddlers through early-primary kids with plenty of open lawn to run on afterwards.

Equipment

The playground sits on a woodchip surface covering about 184 square metres. The rotonet spinner and spring rocker add rotational play alongside the slide and swing set, while the basket swing and infant seat cover the youngest visitors. A half basketball court sits within the wider reserve for older kids after a more structured game.

Practical Info

Picnic tables and seating are available on site, with off-street parking at the reserve. The terrain is flat throughout, making the playground straightforward to reach with a pushchair, and Christchurch City Council's smokefree and vapefree policy applies across the site.
