Riverside Park

Riverside Park in Wanaka has a large playground beside the lake, with a dinosaur slide, a climbing frame, a climbing net, a hammock swing, a bowl rocker and a spinner among a wide range of equipment for different ages.

Further equipment includes standard and infant swings, a spring loaded see saw, a spring toy, a junior slide and bars, set on bark with minimal tree shade over some of it.

Practical Info

Public toilets, a barbecue, picnic tables and seating are all on site, with off street parking. The playground sits right beside the lake, so young children need supervision near the water.
