Sunnynook Park Playground

Sunnynook Park Playground on Auckland's North Shore is a community play space within the larger Sunnynook Park, built around a multi play structure with a slide, swings including a basket swing, and a set of musical flowers for younger children to bang and play with. It's an easy stop for families already at the park for the skate area or the walking loop.

Equipment

The multi play structure with its slide is the centrepiece, backed by swings with a basket swing bay and the musical flowers for toddlers. The playground is on a bark surface and has stood since before 2008.

Practical Info

Sunnynook Park itself has a second playground, a skate park, sports fields and a walking and cycling loop track, with public toilets and changing rooms on the Sunnynook Road side of the park next to a large car park. Seating is available near the playground; there's on street parking as well as the main car park.
