Why these ages?

Kaeo's central play with infant swing, junior multi-play slide, seesaw, climbing net and spring toy under three shade sails; toilets and picnic gazebos on site. Reviewer confirms it sits right next to the main road (SH10 through the township), and no fencing is listed, so parents of wanderers need eyes on. Handy road-trip stop but not a leave-them-to-it toddler venue.

Equipment

Centennial Playground is a medium-sized playground in Kaeo, a small Far North township, built around a swing set with an infant swing, a multi-play structure with a slide, a seesaw, a climbing net, and a spring toy. The mix of infant-friendly swings and slide alongside the seesaw and climbing net means the equipment suits toddlers through to primary-aged children in one compact reserve.

Cute playground right next to the main road with toilets and picnic tables. Pretty large playground. Shade on playground from cover. Community garden area too.

Good place to stop. Plenty of parking, good play ground, seats and toilets. Nice little Northland town with plenty of places to grab some good food and coffee. With a second hand & dress shop one minutes walk from park. Follow tree planters around town to read some of the local history.

great place for stop over, if you travel with kids, this is good for you. Let your kids stretch a bit before continue the road journey.
