Why these ages?

Reviews consistently describe as ideal for 'littlies', 'best for little ones' with 'no safety issues'. Simple slides, swings, tunnels, climbing walls designed for younger children to navigate independently. Rural quiet reserve, playground set well back from Taupaki Road. Grandparent-friendly - 'small and uncrowded, able to keep track of grandchildren'. Basically a low-load toddler playground.

Access notes

Multiple reviews describe a concrete pathway and circuit around the whole park, and one review confirms disabled toilets exist on site, though it noted a missing handrail, so overall access is reasonably good.

New playground under construction but was disappointed with the fact that both disabled toilets did not have handrails

Great concrete circuit for getting your step count up, especially if you like dogs as it is a dog friendly park.

Clean ablutions. Grass was short and bins were empty. All how it should be.

Great little place to go to the loo, walk the dog and a little playground for younger kids. Friendly horses over the far side fence, we gave them some grass and patted their noses
