Jack Knowles Reserve

Jack Knowles Reserve is a community playground in the heart of Taneatua, a small village in the Whakatane district's Waimana Valley.

Equipment includes an eagle's nest swing, a junior multi-play structure with a slide, a basket swing, a rocket shaped climbing frame, see-saws, swings, and a basketball hoop, on bark surfacing under good shade sail cover.

Public toilets, a barbecue, and picnic tables are on site, with on street parking. The Whakatane District Council register lists the site as Jack Knowles Reserve Playground.
