Johnsonville Memorial Park

Johnsonville Memorial Park is a well equipped neighbourhood playground beside the Johnsonville pool, with enough variety of swings, spinners and climbing gear to suit toddlers through to primary school age children on the same visit.

Equipment

The play area is built around a multi-play structure with a tubular slide, plus a junior slide, swings with an infant seat, a spring toy, a turn spike carousel, a spring loaded see-saw, a bowl rocker, a climbing net and a spinner, all in place since before 2009. The infant swing, junior slide, spring toy and bowl rocker are the easiest picks for younger children.

Practical Info

A drinking fountain, picnic tables and a paddling pool are on site, and the adjoining Johnsonville swimming pool charges its own entry fee for families who want to extend the visit indoors.
