Surprisingly cool waterfall at the very end. Path to get to waterfall is a bit tricky and includes a few stream crossings so waterproof shoes needed. But well worth it imo. The rest of the walks there are easy enough.
Seton Nossiter Park
100 Mark Avenue, Grenada Village, Wellington 6037
Why these ages?
Play area has toddler-scale bits (spring horse, ride-on bucket, roundabout, traditional swings) alongside a Boat fort with tube slide and Spida climbing frame. Belmont Stream/waterfall is in the reserve but reached via a walking track — distanced from the playground itself. Off-lead dog area shares reserve so wandering toddlers plus loose dogs add caution.
Access notes
The description says the play equipment sits over high grade safety matting, a firm surface, though the bush reserve track to the playground and lack of onsite toilets leave overall wheelchair access unclear.
