Kilkenny Playground

Kilkenny Playground sits at the Kilkenny Drive entrance to Logan Carr Reserve in Dannemora, a family suburb in east Auckland's Howick area. A fenced junior area keeps toddlers separate from the main equipment, which centres on swings and a slide.

Equipment

Swings, including an infant swing, sit alongside a multi-play structure with a slide, all within a fenced junior zone. Eight fitness stations are set up nearby along the reserve, giving parents and older family members something to do while younger kids play.

Practical Info

The playground has been here since 2009. There is no shade directly over the equipment, though nearby trees shade the picnic table and some of the seating. Parking is available on Kilkenny Drive and surrounding residential streets.
