Memorial was lovely to see, however needs some maintenance Since places now very hard to read. Unfortunately it is in the middle of a T intersection opposite a bottle shop and across from a park so even at 530 pm it was quite busy
What's here
Memorial Park is the community sports and recreation hub at the heart of Opotiki, a small town in the eastern Bay of Plenty where the Waioeka and Otara Rivers meet near the head of Opotiki Harbour. The park sits on Albert Street and anchors a broad stretch of community life that includes rugby, netball, and tennis, as well as the start of a local cycleway trail. For families visiting or living in the area, it offers a genuine all-in-one destination where children can play while adults take in a game on the sports fields or make use of the facilities at the BayTrust Pavilion next door.
