Why these ages?

Small foreshore playground with infant swings, shade sails and multi-play slides is toddler-friendly in equipment terms, but sits directly beside Whangarei Harbour with calm wading water and tidal flats — grassed area separates play area from beach but no fence. Toddlers need active supervision. Great for primary-age kids who can safely combine play with beach exploration.

Great playground, has sunshade in summer. Swings, slides, and a climbing frame like a little ship, and really great climbing trees. Fresh water fountain for people and dogs. Can swim off the beach from mid tide up. BBQ seats and two BBQ if you bring the firewood. Public toilet with disabled access.

Nice areas, beautiful views of the water. Toliets need to be serviced more times a day as we have gone to use them and they were unusable. Could be better and have more cover available for families with children More seating available would also be good alot of people come to eat together and end up sitting in the cars or sitting on the ground, where dogs may have peed.

This place needs 3x coin operated BBQ's along the beach front by the play ground. Also great to see a local food truck selling ice creams my kids love it.

Brillient chilled space to be when you need a nap to carry on driving again. Was traveling back to Gisborne from Mōerewa. Awesome place
