Enjoyable by all kids, young and old. Be willing to chase grandchildren all over the park, or enjoy them while you sit on swings. Lovely day out with whanau.

Finally made it down to this fantastic park. It has something for every age and even has some wheelchair and pram-accessible paths, swings and children's games. They can climb high or low and push themselves. Everyone was having fun. Also has accessible toilets and drinking fountains with loads of parking. If you have more time you can pop down to the Camera Obscura or walk along the path right around the loop. This can be a destination in itself or a stop-off on a walk around the basin.

Ahh yes the is land of pohe. Has a good playgroud, a decent little bmx track and public toilets with water fountains nearby supplied by the sewer runoff and taken straight from the murky river below. Higjly recommend!

Returning every year I find the City of Whangarei continues to make positive additions for all people and families. The Pohoe playground, the nearby pump track and the paved tracks are wonderful additions, beautifully finished.

Great place to spend an hour with the family. The playground has features which are suitable for toddlers and up, I would say 5+ can use the entire playground freely, but our toddler (2) loves it. It’s right next to the town basin loop so a good outing if you circle the loop also.

Best playground we have been to in a long time. Something for kids to play on at all agers. Toilets were also clean.

A wonderful public (family) asset. Very popular with kids with all manner of interesting climb structures, slides, swings etc. Kids bike track also nearby. Asphalt surface makes it all-weather. Kids love it. Well done WDC
