Why these ages?

Small kids area with basket swing suits toddlers but the elevated timber towers, high-start flying fox and multiple slides skew primary-age. Tamaki Drive is a busy arterial directly adjacent with no fencing, and the beach is across the road - both live risks that demand active toddler supervision.

Access notes

The description explicitly says the surface is artificial rubber matting, but it gives no detail on path or ramp access to the two elevated timber towers, or on accessible parking.

Pretty m cool playground for the kids, plenty of parking on the road, plenty of grass area and an ok basketball half court and a beach across the road that I forgot to take a picture of. Whether you just want to take the kids out for a play of have an outdoor activity day for your friends and family this will definitely be the place for it.

Always stop here as a combination with the aquarium. Long flying fox. Big and small wheel climbers. Small kids area. Large lawn besides and beach across the road for a view of city and port.

Great location for the kids to run around and large play ground. The flying fox was broken though. The playground itself is nice but a bit limited as for as things to do for the kids. What's great is the public toilet. Ideal for a picnic or larger groups while the kids are occupied on the playground.

Plenty of shady trees here to sit under while the children play, the playground is clean and spacious. You can use the bbq if you feel like cooking, and the beach is conveniently located just across the road for a swim.
