Why these ages?

Reviewer explicitly says 'at least 4yrs+, most ninja equipment for 8+' — not built for toddlers. No infant swing, grass surface. Ninja climbing, tubular slides, supernova spinner and overhead ladder plus adjacent 4.9km bush walk excellent for primary and tween. Pedestrian-only access reduces road risk.

Access notes

Description explicitly states the play equipment sits on a grass surface, a barrier for wheelchair users, and a review confirms you cannot drive right up to it, entering via a path next to the kindergarten instead. No facilities are on site.

Big open space for the tamariki to run around. Rather secluded and quiet too when we came (Saturday lunchtime). Enter through path next to Kelson kindergarten.

Great park for children at least 4yrs+. The playground equipment is relatively new, but most of the climbing/ninja equipment is for children at least 8 or older. The park isn't easy to locate and you can't drive up to it. Best way to locate it, for accessibility, is via Taieri Crs. There are no facilities here.

We couldn't find it. Or if we did, it was nothing like what we expected
