    Waitangi Day holidays and you go about visiting Pacific Drive. Almost at the end of the road, you find the place you were after: The thematic monument/park/playground that is the Peace Tree Reserve. Humbling and amazing! What you encounter is this wonderful Japanese-style garden peacefully perching on a small hill by the side of the road, tucked away in its own little corner. You find a small playground at the back, some seating, a water fountain at one end, a rubbish bin at the other, and a few picnic tables on the side. But the centrepiece of the garden is the Peace tree, still a shrub, if anything, at the centre of the Zen-like garden. The place already allows for some meditative contemplation, but it is still in its infancy. In years to come, when the tree reaches its adulthood as far as trees go, and asuming the place remains unspoiled as you found it today, you'll be in no doubt that the place will be a veneered point of visit for those atuned to the procedence and symbolism of the tree.

    Its ok LITTLE park but LITTLE is the key word. Dosnt have a lot going on.
