Smallfield Reserve Playground

Smallfield Avenue Playground is a well-equipped community playground in Mount Roskill, central Auckland, with enough variety to hold both toddlers and teenagers through a single visit.

Equipment

The play equipment spans swings with an infant seat and a basket swing, a rotonet, climbing modules, a spring toy, and a slide, all set over bark and woodchip surfacing. A skate park and a half basketball court sit alongside, extending the site well into the teenage years once younger kids have had their turn on the swings and slide.

Practical Info

Fourteen fitness stations and three drinking fountains are registered here, on top of picnic tables, making this one of the better-equipped parks in the Puketapapa area for a longer visit. Dogs are not permitted within the reserve, and off-street parking is provided.
