Why these ages?

Waipa flagship with a self-contained fenced junior zone (own basket + infant swings, junior multi-play, spring toy, musical play and its own water play). Main site adds flying fox, tower with tube+embankment slides, pump track, inground trampolines, hamster wheel, carousel and you-and-me swing. Water present in both zones so supervision matters; fenced junior area keeps toddlers separated from bike track and bigger equipment.

This playground has been split into zones, which is really great. Nearest the pool there is the original playground, which has what you'd typically expect for an 'old school' playground. As you wrap around towards the Rose Garden, there is more modern equipment, with more things for the older kids to do. There's even a small scooter/bike track loop. And plenty of space for them to run and explore. Walking trail along the riverside goes past the playground on the low side, that is unseen from the road.

Really cool playground. Spilt up into different sections that’s interesting and logical. …

Great park, so much things to do and love that there is a fenced area for young children to play safely. I wish it had a bit more shaded areas especially in summer though, it's been a scorcher lately

What a fun, activity filled playground to visit with the kids! Im not from the area, & was meeting up with family, & chose this playground as a central place to meet after reading Google reviews. So many different things for the kids to enjoy & explore. Burn off energy & just have fun. Love how it’s spread out in different areas with different equipment for kids of different ages to explore. As it meanders into other parks. Including Memorial Park with the beautiful Rose gardens. Have visited many playgrounds with nieces & nephews over the years, but this would have to be one of the best! Next to the aquatic/event centre, close to cafes, & there was the market happening at the same time when we visited on Saturday morning. What a phenomenal asset for the local community! And a great place for visiting families ❤️
