Why these ages?

Reviewers repeatedly call out the fully fenced perimeter keeping the road edge safe, plus soft rubber mats around a dedicated baby castle for under-3s. Junior multi-play with own slide, infant swings and accessibility swing put toddlers in their own zone. The iconic rocket slide is 'scarily high' with up to 1.5m fall potential per review - that's real height but mitigated by fencing. Broad appeal across ages.

Accessibility
Partial access
+ Artificial turf surface (firmer than bark)+ Supportive swing seat (high-back, basket or nest)
Access notes

Description explicitly says the accessibility swing and smooth artificial surface make the play area workable for children with varying mobility needs. This is a transfer in seat rather than a swing the chair rolls onto. No accessible parking or toilet is mentioned, only street parking and general public toilets.

The baby play area equipment here is a tad old, but it is none the less an excellent playground for big and small kids. The baby playground area is completely covered in soft mats, not too high or big, and adults can walk right into the small castle with their kids which is excellent for my 2 year old. All the other structures are built in seperate areas, with swings and jungle gyms and the famous rocket all spread out evenly, leaving plenty of space for kids to run around. There is free parking just outside the playground, it is also the entirely fenced so you don’t have to worry about kids running onto the road outside. There are also exercise equipments outside the park as well, but i think those are for adults as opposed to kids.

Great park for toddlers. Love the rubber mats in playgrounds! A nice variety of play equipment and fenced off around the play area that gives access to the road. 👍🏼 …

Good playground with fencing around road edge to keep the young ones safe. The rocket is a big draw card, as kids like to climb. There is a sun shade over the seating area. Across the road are a couple of takeaway shops and cafes. If you walk past the community centre, behind the ymca is a flying fox and tennis courts.

Needs updating but the kids don't notice or care they love the place. Few trees for shade during the summer and picnicking. Toilets on the grounds and shops across the road. We go the the park after the Mt Albert Pool's which is a five min walk

Needs a bit of a touch up, but otherwise a very good playground. Lots of swings, the rocket ship is very cool and unique, and my daughter loved the castle

Just the toilets that were super stinky and dirty, but the general structure is really nice for kids

It's a nice park with a lot of play equipment and I think kids like the rocket one the most.
