Wadestown Play Area

Wadestown Play Area, attached to the Wadestown Playgroup on Wadestown Road, is a large, fully fenced playground that suits toddlers and primary school children alike. Senior and junior multi-play structures with slides sit alongside see-saws, an inclusive carousel, a mini trampoline, spring toys, a bowl spinner, an overhead ladder, a sandpit and an in-ground trampoline, plus a half basketball court for older kids.

Full fencing around the site makes it a solid choice for parents of toddlers who like to wander.

Public toilets, a drinking fountain, picnic tables and seating are on site, and on street parking is available on Wadestown Road. The playground opened within the last five years, and Wellington City Council's smokefree policy applies.
