Why these ages?

Recently rebuilt inclusive playground: junior multi-play, embankment slides, inclusive carousel, inclusive swing seat, mini trampoline, see-saw and flying fox. Wide age band well covered. Some has-fencing photo signal. Suburban Khandallah street, no water/road hazards. One review flagged a steep slide with a sharp bend causing an injury — otherwise a strong all-round pick, especially for mixed-mobility toddlers.

Nairnville Park Children's Playground in Khandallah, on Wellington's northern slopes, is a recently built play area with a genuinely inclusive equipment mix for a wide age range. A junior multi-play structure with a slide sits alongside embankment slides, a helicopter climber, a see-saw, a flying fox and a mini trampoline, plus an inclusive carousel and swings fitted with an inclusive seat.

    Excellent playground for all ages, with plenty of seating and sun covers. Really new equipment too. Free on-street parking right beside the park. There are no public facilities here, the nearest public toilet is at the Khandalla Shops.

    Awesome play area for kids with nice views... close to both Ngaio and Khandhalla..no public toilet close by. Closest with 3-4min drive.

    Recently upgraded by the council. 4yo has rated it "really fun, would play again". Incorporation of some shade sails, a covered picnic table and inclusive play equipment are great. They put in a reimagined helicopter which is not quite as awesome to play on as the old one, which is a shame. The steep tunnel slide was also replaced.

    Nice update to this playground since we were there last. Shaded play areas with plenty for large and small children. Smoothest roundabout that goes for ages on just one push!

    Granddaughter's favourite playground. Not just another churned out "plastic fantastic". The pipework helicopter and fire engine are favourites, as well as the enclosed slide down the hill.

    Very nice play area, whit a nice football fields and big high slide. If you're out of ideas, try this place. Kids will love it. Take a football with you the turf is amazing.

    Great playground but no shade over the equipment so avoid in the heat of the day. The slides were particularly hot.
