Whitburn Park Playground

Whitburn Park playground on Milns Road is a recently refreshed neighbourhood playground in Halswell, on Christchurch's southwestern edge, suited to ages one to eight. It centres on two multi-play structures with slides, one for younger children and one for older kids, giving the site more range than most single-structure neighbourhood playgrounds.

Equipment

Alongside the two multi-play structures there's a see-saw and swings including an infant bay, on a woodchip surface covering around 429 square metres, with picnic tables and seating positioned for caregivers.

Off street parking is available at the park, convenient for families arriving with young children and gear. The park is maintained by Christchurch City Council, whose smokefree and vape free policy applies here.
