Tidy skatepark, with drinking water and public toilets. Some good banks, gaps and other fun features but hard to get speed.
William Nelson Park
300 Saint Aubyn Street West, Hastings 4122
Why these ages?
Small dedicated fenced junior playground (infant swing, rotonet, junior multi-play with slide, bark surface) is physically separated from the large skate plaza, so toddlers can play while parent watches from seat. Big teen/tween magnet via skate plaza and half basketball court. CCTV and boundary fencing added; some reviews mention teen crowds at peak times.
Access notes
Description explicitly says the junior playground equipment is set on bark, a clear barrier for wheelchair users, despite mobility parking being available on street near the park entrances.
