Hunterville's play sits in a town that has built its identity as a highway stopping point, a short walk off the main street with parking right there. Marton, the district's largest town, holds the bigger option at Te Āhuru Mōwai on Wellington Road: a fenced, three-sided climbing tower with slide, sandpit, water play, and a swing set that was the country's longest when it opened in 2021.
