It's good because it's close to our place. Not great for little ones but our kids are starting to grow into it at about age 3. The swings are big - which is fun. There are a few other of the original suspects. There is a bit of scruffy bush behind the playground where you can have a bit of an explore too.
Acheron Rd Play Park
Unnamed Road, 5026, Porirua
Why these ages?
Small neighbourhood park with multi-play + slide, basket and standard swing, dippy disk and bowl rocker on bark, plus a grassed area. Reviewer split on toddler fit: one says 'not great for little ones but our kids are starting to grow into it at about age 3', another says 'great for little ones' — so it's a 3+ playground more than a 1-2yo one. Residential Porirua street, no water or arterial hazard.
Access notes
The play equipment sits on a bark surface. Only street parking is available and reviews confirm there are no toilets, with no accessible feature described anywhere in the source text.
