Acheron Rd Play Park

Acheron Rd Play Park is a neighbourhood playground in the Mana and Camborne area of Porirua, one of several small play parks the council groups together in that part of the city.

Equipment

The playground has a multi-play structure with slide, a basket swing, a standard swing, a dippy disk, and a bowl rocker, on a bark surface, alongside a large grassed area for informal play.

Access and Inclusion

There is no shade over the play equipment, though one picnic table sits under a tree. Street parking is available on Acheron Road.

Practical Info

The park sits close to Ngāti Toa Domain, a significant open space named for the iwi whose rohe covers Porirua and the wider Cook Strait region. Porirua City Council's smokefree policy applies.
