We go here because it's close. It does have decent swings. A slide for little ones and a zip along for big ones. There is a big field for running around on or playing sports. Good for dogs. There is also some bush at one end that can be explored - although it is quite steep. Good for a quick visit.
Bodmin Park
52 Bodmin Terrace, Camborne, Porirua 5026
Why these ages?
Compact neighbourhood park on a quiet Camborne terrace: infant swing, shop front, tubular slide, glider - description explicitly pitches infant swing + shop front for toddlers. Adjacent field and 'zip along for big ones' add some kid appeal. Steep bush at one end but away from play area. Not close to busy road or water.
Access notes
Description explicitly says the surface is bark and rubber, and notes this playground sits on the upper streets of Camborne above reserves with easier access lower down the hill, a steep approach for a wheelchair.
