Lush green and beautiful park out there with alot of experienced football players of Melville. If you like to play soccer this is the best park to start with or test your experties.

Gower park is awesome! We turned up to play football....... game started and we were down 2 nil by half time, 1 minute into the second half they scored again! We decided that this wasn't ok so we scored 6 goals and we won in a tremendous fashion

No playground and grass knee high around the x1 swing set it does have for such a large highly used park I would expect at least some sort of decent entertainment/ playground for the huge amount of activities that go on there and amount of children that live in the neighborhood.

Big park with a very high quality field and stands/seating around it. Would be nice to have a little more parking so you didn't have to park on the side

Home of Melville United AFC. Entry to main clubrooms off Alison Street, with limited off street parking probably the top Football surface in the Waikato. Access to more off street parking, changing rooms, public toilets and pitches 3,4,5,6,7 off Sandringham Place. Waikato’s Premier Football venue, hosting Secondary Tournaments, Summer 5 asides, Melville Academy and Ethnic Football Festival.
