    Lovely little playground that also has fitness equipment built in so parents can workout while the kids play. A lovely walking track along the river which is part of the river walk.

    Lovely place to sit, rest and explore. River paths runs right beside it. Great cafe. Newly added kids playground. Lots of people swim here in the warmer months.

    We rate this place as the funnest and safest place to hang in the sun and swim in the river. Can wander upstream and float back down. Lots of kids (and some adults) constantly pop manus off the dock/wharf. Everyone is friendly and family …

    Hays paddock pretty much describes what it is. There's a beach there on the edge of the Waikato River, and a jetty. Just a good place for a River dip. Just pulled in here after kayaking down the river. There's a cafe nearby too. I know people love it though I haven't tried it yet. Will add to the bucket list. 😉

    Great place for everyone to come. Great walk with family. Would be amazing if there was a water fountain in place for children adults and dogs. Would make an even better place to stay longer
