Why these ages?

Hamilton Lake adjacent - drowning risk means parents can't fully switch off with a toddler even though play area itself has infant/basket/you-and-me swings and flat buggy-friendly layout. Parkour, half basketball court and slalom/overhead ladder give real tween appeal (Hamilton's first parkour area). Lake reachable but not directly beside play equipment.

Accessibility
Partial access

Access notes

The description states the playground surface is artificial and the reserve has a flat, open layout that makes it easy to push a buggy from the car park to the equipment. Parking is on street with no accessible bay named, so that axis is not scored.

Innes Common's playground pairs Hamilton's first parkour training area with a full run of family equipment, all under an open sky beside Hamilton Lake. Climbers work through balance beams, an overhead ladder and a slalom pole before moving to an inground carousel or a second stand alone carousel, while swings cover every age from a basket swing and infant swing through to a you and me swing for a parent and child riding together.

Great ground, has something for everyone, adults, kids and dogs. Ample free parking around. Easy access using Killarney Road. Great place to relax and unwind at any time. Beautiful part of a pristine Lake to say the least. Highly recommended for everyone. Also the Base/Launch site for Balloons over Waikato events.

What a lovely park. The walk by the lake is very nice, and the park our park is fun, if a bit humbling...

My siblings and I went to a great family-friendly place, but the parking situation is a problem. You can't park your car easily, and it only has space for 20 cars. That's the only issue.

The first time in my 45 years on this earth, I was very surprised to find that innes common has a gate now. I wasn't panicked by it when I decided to go get me something to eat at 2am in the morning and was met by a beautiful red and white gate and realized I was locked in lol it was quite peaceful to be honest. Gates close 11pm summer. 9pm winter.

The temporary relocation of The Farmers Market worked well - however, long term without weather protection would not be good!

I was surprised this area was down here at the lake. I couldn't be bothered hitting the gym, a mate told us about the fitness park. Pull-ups pressups dips were the call. Good for all fitness levels and ages
