Harvard Adventure Park
30 Main Street, Pahiatua 4910
Why these ages?
Description explicitly states 'The park is fully fenced, useful for families with toddlers who need a secure space' AND there's a 'separate fenced junior area' with its own smaller slide, swings and spring toys - a parent of a 2-4yo can genuinely let go. Sits on Main Street just off SH2 so fencing matters. Older kids get the Harvard plane slide, rope frame, hamster wheel, flying fox and momentum beam - one reviewer says 'as good as Destination Playground in Hamilton'. Tweens still enjoy the flying fox and climbing.
What's here
Harvard Adventure Park is a Main Street playground in Pahiatua built around a bright yellow North American Harvard trainer plane with a slide running out of its fuselage. It suits a wide range, from toddlers in a separate fenced area through to confident seven to twelve year olds on the rope frame and flying fox, and it has been pulling families off State Highway 2 for decades.
