Why these ages?

Infant swing, basket swing, tractor and assisted slide give a genuinely toddler-friendly junior area but nothing is fenced, and a covered skate ramp plus water play area sit on the same site. Multi-play climbing structure, carousel, seesaws and two slides suit primary kids well. Tweens have the covered skate ramp and Sunday miniature train. Skate and water zones are separate from the main play equipment (distance mitigation), but 2-4yos still need supervision.

Access notes

Description states surfacing is a mix of artificial turf and bark chip, with only on street parking on Wordsworth Street and no accessible equipment, path or toilet described for the play area.

This is a very nice park for recreation for both kids and adults. There are plenty of trees around the park, creating a relaxing environment where adults can unwind while children enjoy playing. The road engine is especially attractive for kids and adds to the fun. The park is well shaded, with cloth canopies providing protection from the sun. It also offers a good variety of play equipment, including swings, slides, and a scooter ride area, making it a great place for families to spend time together.

Perfect for rain! All under the huge roof! That's how I found the place - I wanted to go skating but it was raining. Definitely one of the best spots to practice. Strongly recommend Awesome skating!

Great place for hanging out with the kids, and we went back on Sunday so they could ride the trains. Just be careful of the really nasty spikey seed pods from the chestnut(?) tree, they could ruin your day! The rotunda has so much character …
