Why these ages?

Natural timber build with double bay log swings (basket, infant, strap, duo), tunnel and spring toys for toddlers, plus log climbing, embankment slides, monkey bars and half basketball for older kids. Perimeter concrete scooter/bike track. Wetland walk accessible directly = water risk mitigated by distance from playground. Wide age range, cafe next door. Downgraded to has-toddler-zone (no perimeter fence).

Accessibility
Partial access
+ Step-free path to the play- Bark or wood-chip surface (wheels sink)
Access notes

Description states the perimeter concrete track works well for wheelchair users, but the ground under the equipment itself is bark mulch and low grasses, a barrier for reaching individual pieces once off the concrete loop.

Please note that one of the photos in the reviews appears to be incorrect. The images posted by Gordon Jones do not belong to this playground in Cambridge. They are actually from St Kilda Adventure Playground, 470 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda SA 5110, Adelaide, Australia. This may cause confusion for visitors. It would be helpful if the photos could be corrected or removed.

Fantastic playground, has slides and tunnels for the younger children and a monkey bar obstacle course for the older children. Has a great bike/scooter track around the outside of that has bumps and banked corners which is a lot of fun. Right next to a cafe too which is handy, you can watch the kids from the outside tables.

Unfortunately Gordon Jones’ review and pictures (of St Kilda playground in Melbourne) led to much disappointment at the much smaller playground that is actually here. But the kids had fun and the nearby St Kilda Cafe was really nice
