Mahana Reserve

Mahana Reserve's playground in Te Awamutu draws on the site's orchard heritage through fruit coloured surfaces and natural materials, built around two octagonal timber towers connected by a rope bridge, high enclosed tube slides and an accessible carousel.

Equipment

Further equipment includes in ground trampolines, a three bay swing set with basket, strap, toddler and duo seating, a flower rocker for group play, a timber balance area and a bike and scooter track around the perimeter.

Access and Inclusion

The carousel is designed to welcome wheelchair users, and the perimeter track suits scooters, bikes and pushchairs. Public toilets are on site.
