Mahoe Park Playground

Mahoe Park playground in Melville, Hamilton, is a medium-sized neighbourhood play area on the Coventry Road side of the reserve, sitting alongside one of Hamilton's leading sports grounds. The bark-surfaced playground has a well-rounded equipment mix and suits children from toddlers through to older primary-school age.

Equipment

The playground includes swings, a basket swing, an infant swing, slides, monkey bars, climbing nets and a climbing tower, talking tubes, a Spidergon, a Coconut Wriggle, and wobbly challenge pieces from the Natural Play Range. The basket swing and slides with assistance serve toddlers well, while the climbing nets and Spidergon provide a more physical challenge for older children.

Practical Info

Off-street parking is available in the Coventry Road car park directly beside the playground. Public toilets and picnic tables are on site. Hamilton City Council's smokefree policy covers all its green spaces, including this playground.
