A Fantastic Family Spot 🛝 Playground for All Ages Features a large wooden climbing structure, tall orange slide, and plenty of climbing logs and poles. Great for both younger children and older, adventurous kids. 🌳 Spacious and Scenic Set within the Mt Wellington War Memorial Reserve, the park offers beautiful green surroundings and open space for running, picnicking, or relaxing. 👨‍👩‍👧 Family-Friendly Amenities Public toilets, drinking fountains, picnic tables, and walking paths make it convenient for families to spend several hours here comfortably. 🚲 Bike and Walk Friendly Connects directly to the Tamaki Path, making it perfect for scooters, bikes, and stroller walks along the estuary. 🌞 Ideal for Outdoor Play Natural shade from trees, soft grassy areas, and a calm atmosphere make this an excellent place for kids to play and explore safely. ⚠️ Parental Note The playground is not fenced and is near water — keep an eye on young children. Shade is limited on the playground structure itself, so sunscreen or hats are a good idea. ✅ A well-designed park with something for every age group, Mt Wellington Children’s Park combines nature, fun, and practicality. Highly recommended for weekend family outings or after-school play sessions.
