Such a fun and creative space for children. Everything is designed with kids in mind - interactive, imaginative, and engaging. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. A brilliant venue that encourages play, learning, and creativity.
Nōku te Ao Capital E
65 Victoria Street, Wellington Central, Wellington 6011
Why these ages?
Fully indoor Wellington creative play venue - by definition enclosed and staffed, with an accessible carousel, infant swing seat, timber box for little climbers and reading corner. Reviews rave about safety for 18-month to preschool kids. Not designed for tweens. The indoor/enclosed setup satisfies the 'let-them-loose' toddler test.
Access notes
Description states the carousel is purpose built as an accessibility feature, the rope climber has accessible access built in, and the whole venue is indoors and flat with an artificial surface, removing seasonal weather barriers for wheelchair users. Parking nearby is described by some reviews as hard to find.
