Great reserve, lovely walkway in the gully, a great walk on a hot or windy day as it is sheltered. You can walk the length of the reserve on the grass on either side, very pleasant with nice trees. The whole area is a dog of the lead area and they love it Enjoy!
Palmbrook Reserve
Havelock North 4130
Access notes
Paved paths connect the entry points and work well with a buggy, but the playground itself sits on bark safety surfacing, a barrier for wheelchair users. There are no public toilets on site.
What's here
Palmbrook Reserve in Havelock North pairs an upper lawn playground with a native stream corridor below it, giving the eighteen acre reserve two quite different characters in one visit. Three entry points off Te Mata Road, Fairview Place and The Croft connect via paved paths that work well with a buggy throughout.
