Great reserve, lovely walkway in the gully, a great walk on a hot or windy day as it is sheltered. You can walk the length of the reserve on the grass on either side, very pleasant with nice trees. The whole area is a dog of the lead area and they love it Enjoy!

Really nice to have nearby open space, and to see evidence of localised revegetation planting, with irrigation to boot. Its potential is enormous. However, it's disturbing to see the dumping of garden rubbish, the main source of weed infestation, continue unabated. HDC's role should be to manage this problem at source, mainly through advocacy and education, to ensure dumping stops. Of less concern but still important is the proliferation of plants that are totally unsuitable in this space, e.g. phoenix palms, succulents, roses, geraniums, aloe, agave, some of which have been planted by adjacent residents. In some places the impression is of privatised public space. An overarching weed management and revegetation plan should guide all current and future efforts in this reserve. Is there one?
