Perfect for Sunday mornings for kids, a break from the Takapuna flea market. Lots of pigeons here too for kids and adults chase. Yes I’ve seen a full grown man here chase pigeons and it’s not me.
Potters Park Playground
42 Anzac Street, Takapuna, Auckland 0622
Why these ages?
Small Takapuna park with a dedicated fenced junior area (own infant + basket swings, carousel) and an embankment slide + climbing net for older kids alongside. Anzac Street is a busier Takapuna road right beside the park so the fencing matters; junior zone keeps toddlers contained. Toilets and drinking fountain on site.
Access notes
Description states plainly that surfacing is artificial, a firm ground positive, but parking is on street on Anzac Street with no accessible parking or toilet specifically confirmed.
