Why these ages?

Description explicitly says the equipment suits '2-8 year olds well'. Junior multi-play with slide, infant + basket swings, musical sensory panels, solo spinner and balance gear all skew young. Firm artificial grass surface, shade sail on picnic table, off-street parking. No fencing described but the layout is compact and set within a quiet sporting reserve with no water/road/tall hazards flagged. Tweens will find it small.

Galloway Park is one of my favorite spots in Hamilton! This park is a wonderful blend of open green spaces and well-maintained facilities, making it perfect for families, sports enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax. The sports fields are always in great condition, making it ideal for a game of cricket, rugby, or just kicking a ball around. The playground is a big hit with the kids, offering a variety of equipment that keeps them entertained for hours. The park's paths are great for a leisurely walk or a run, and the mature trees provide plenty of shade on sunny days. I also appreciate how clean and safe the park feels. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic, meet up with friends, or simply take a break from the busy day-to-day life. Galloway Park is truly a gem in Hamilton—well worth a visit!
