Communication boards in English and Maori support non speaking children, a genuine inclusive feature, but the main play area sits on a bark surface, a hard barrier for wheelchair users. A review also flags toilets as two football fields away, a further practical barrier.

Great place to walk. There are new planting areas. The waste water from Waikanae come here and is treated and goes into settling ponds. Kids playground and flying fox, and a toilet.

Great variety of play equipment. The massive issue is the toilets are two football fields away so completely unsuitable for kids. No changing facilities. Couldn't find a rubbish bin either. And wow the grass isn't mowed

Great new climbing structure and slide. Lots of space to run between activities and explore
