The main playground in Roxburgh sits at the southern end of this small Central Otago town within King George V Memorial Park, a fenced reserve on Till Street that doubles as the town's most-used outdoor family space. With mature oak trees providing genuine shade on hot inland days and a vintage bulldozer to clamber on, it has an atmosphere you will not find in a newer suburban park.

Such a great little park, and clean bathrooms. There was even a lovely black cat greeting everyone who came to picnic!
