Why these ages?

Set back from Remuera Road (arterial) via reserve, reviewers repeatedly note 'away from road, smaller kids pretty safe'. Toddler swing + junior slides = clear toddler zone but unfenced and flying fox is fast (one fall reported), so parents still need line-of-sight. Great for 4-8yo range. Tween interest fades fast per reviews.

Accessibility
Partial access

Access notes

The description explicitly states paths through the reserve suit prams, indicating a step free approach to the play area. However the equipment itself sits on a bark surface, a barrier for wheelchair users trying to reach it directly despite the pram friendly paths.

Nice shady playground. Kids enjoyed the flying fox. Not heaps of things to do. Once they went on everything, they lost interest. Good seats for the adults.

Nice little playground . Good place to relax under the trees. Theres no flying fox in the park. The park got a wobbly bridge, stepping logs, balance beams, slide, see saw, basket swing, toddler swing, round-a-bout and log pyramid. No public toilets. Nice and quiet park

Nice quite park tucked away behind the main road. It’s on quite a sizeable section with some small hills. Great for smaller kids to play in. Good - great range of balancing logs and equipment. Big flying fox. Lots of street parking. Heaps of shade under giant trees. Equipment all fairly new and in good condition. Away from road so smaller kids are pretty safe. Bad - bigger kids will get bored. Nothing much for parents to do here, no shops or cafes nearby. Playground is lacking in variety. But overall really nice, great place for picnics with smaller children.

Flying fox, swings, see saws, slides. Nice playground in the summer as well because there is lots of shade.

Awesome flying fox . She's a fast one so hang on if your kids are young.

Quite playpark, probably best for smaller kids, but the flying fox is pretty big.
