Why these ages?

Infant swing and basket swing are the only clearly toddler pieces; multi-play tower has a tubular slide and tunnel, plus a see-saw and spinner. One reviewer flags the equipment as 'aimed at slightly bigger kids' with 'lots to climb, some pretty tall', and a skate ramp sits on site. Fenced on the roadside only (partial fence per reviewer) but on a quiet Ellerslie crescent. Skate ramp and taller climbing are within the same compact site so distance mitigation is modest.

Access notes

Description explicitly states wheelchair access on site is limited according to council survey data, with uneven ground expected for mobility aid users. A mobility parking space is provided, but that does not offset the uneven terrain barrier.

Nice little playground opposite the kindergarden, has slides and swings, a bridge, climbing wall, including an infant swing, rubbish bins and seating is provided. The playground looks very nice for kids to play around. Can eat your lunch under the tree. No public toilet. Looks nice and clean.

Celtic Crescent Playground, located near Lunn Avenue in Ellerslie, is a lovely local park that's perfect for families with young children. The playground features classic equipment like swings, slides, and climbing structures, all set in a well-maintained, open green space. It's a great spot for kids to play and burn off energy in a safe, relaxing environment. Its proximity to local amenities like cafes and Ellerslie Kindergarten makes it convenient for parents, and it's a nice spot for a quick outdoor outing. While not large, the playground offers a calm, community-focused atmosphere that makes it a go-to for families in the area.

Good playground to chill at if you're in the area, near good takeaway places and dairys if you want to bring kids here

Fairly small corner section playground aimed at slightly bigger kids. Good if you’re local and want to check it out. Good - lots of things to climb, some pretty tall. Rock climbing wall. Fenced on roadside. Street parking available. Cool sides. Shops just around the corner. Lots of tree shade. Bad - kind of small, not much space for kids to run around. Equipment is a little dated. Not really suitable for toddlers. Great option if you’ve got no where else close by, but there are better options not far from here.

Excellent play area for young children, the big trees are wonderful and give great shade.

Lovely small playground with lot's of climbing. The only downside is that it's only partially fenced, but it's on a quiet street, so that's not too bad.
