Water play playgrounds in Bay of Plenty

Water play covers splash pads, hand pumps feeding channels and dams, and shallow water features built into the playground. It is the difference between a hot January afternoon that works and one that does not. Most are seasonal and many run on a push-button timer to save water.

Water features are commonly switched off outside summer or during water restrictions. Check with the council before driving across town in shoulder season.
